Case Erector
A case erector (also known as a carton erector or box erector) is a key piece of equipment in packaging lines, designed to automatically form flat, collapsed cartons or boxes into their proper shape, ready for filling.
It’s commonly used in industries like food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, and consumer goods to speed up and automate the packaging process
How a Case Erector Works
Feeding
Flat Cartons
The process begins with flat, unassembled cartons (usually pre-scored) being loaded into the machine, typically in a stack or on a magazine.
Separation and Orientation
The case erector uses pneumatic or mechanical systems to separate the individual cartons from the stack.
Folding of Flat Cartons
The cartons are folded into box shapes along pre-pressed crease lines using pneumatic or mechanical systems.
Sealing (Optional)
Some case erectors include automated sealing features, such as a tape sealer or gluing system to seal the bottom of the case to keep it stable.

Requirements for Boxes
1.Material of the Box
a. Corrugated material, single-layer corrugation or above
b. White card material, weight of 350 grams or above
2.Details of the Paper Box
a. Gap: 1.5 mm times the thickness of the paper box
b. Creases:depth of the four creases should exceed half of the paper box thickness
c. Tuck Flap:after the box is formed, the tuck flap should be flush with the box or protrude 0.5 mm from the box
d. Corrugated Direction: horizontal
e. Moisture content: 8-12%
f. Dimensional tolerance of the box: ±2 mm
