Shrink Tunnel

Shrink tunnel applies heat to shrink wrap film that has already been sealed around a product (typically by a L-Sealer or Side Sealer). The heat causes the film to contract, tightly wrapping the product for protection, presentation, and tamper evidence

Differences of Shrink Tunnel

Recirculating Shrink Tunnel

Airflow: The air in a recirculating shrink tunnel is recycled or recirculated within the tunnel. It heats the air, and the air is reused for shrinking the film. This system is more energy-efficient.

Film Shrinking: Provides a more controlled shrinkage ,particularly those that are more heat-sensitive.

Energy Efficiency: More energy-efficient since the air is recycled within the system, making it suitable for longer production runs.

Jet Air Shrink Tunnel

Airflow: Uses high-velocity air jets to shrink the film around the product. The powerful jets of air circulate around the product to ensure an even and fast shrinking process.

Film Shrinking: Provides more uniform shrinking, especially for irregularly shaped or delicate products.

Energy Efficiency: It can be less energy-efficient because it uses more air and requires higher airflow to create the jetstream.
